While there have been instances of mobile pirates making iPhone fakes that are somewhat close to the original product, this one below is, well, not close at all. In fact its so confidently named iPhone that it almost makes you laugh..

Apparently, it also has a model number!

Here’s the link to the product page on ebay; some of the product features quoted there:

Simplified Chinese language, English, a large quantity of brush can be multi-lingual
“brush” can be multi-lingual, yeah right.. we understand that!

Shooting video with sound support

SMS repeated, Web cameras

Time-to-market - 2008.03
“Time to market”– Market launch date maybe.. and apparently its a hot new release!

And its just for 3500 INR, that is like a 100 USD.

Thank God for ebay, otherwise we geeks would have had nothing to laugh at.

Cellphones that “change clothes”

ModuMobile, an upcoming mobile firm has demonstrated in 2008 Mobile World Congress its line of “modular mobiles”. These devices are basically devices over which several different types of “jackets” can be used. And unlike the external bodies available of several popular mobiles in grey markets, these jackets not only will change the way the phone looks but also bring about change in the user interface of the device.

Here is a news video demonstrating this:

This video also contains some footage on Ringo which is in the business of creating video ringtones on a mass scale. This includes software which will show different video ringtone based on who is calling.

ModuMobile is expected to launch this year in Italy, Russia and Israel. The rest of the world will have to wait a bit longer to experience this unique mobile device.
