Method 1 (Example is meant for X426 Rev 1.5) -Insert Sim card for a carrier other then the one that your phone is locked to. -The phone should display either Incorrect Sim or Wrong Sim, now type *#9998*3323# -The LCD screen will go white and display an exit option. Now press the right soft key -The service menu will appear, highlight and select the malloc fail option, the phone will now reboot -Type *0141# and then press the send key (green phone button). “Personalized” will display on the LCD -Power the phone off, remove the sim and reinset your original sim card. -Turn on the phone and you will be prompted to enter the security code (review users manual unless you have changed the code). -Phone is now unlocked**Depending on your model the code in step 2 (*#9998*3323#) will need to be changed to a different number.
