The idea of wristwatch phone itself is quite a fantasy, now add to that the capability of video-calling and you have got yourself a winner! This idea has been long cherished in the popular TV show “Dick Tracy” and in several spy fantasy works.

In this years CES (International Consumer Electronics Show) held at Las Vegas, LG has unveiled new line of mobile phones which can be worn on the wrist and have video calling capabilities.

The phone is a little more than half an inch thick, has touch-screen capabilities and has three buttons. It offers two hours of talk time on a single charge.

In last year’s CES too LG had displayed six wrist-watch cellphones but at the time had stated that they were still in developmental stage. This year, too, no specific launch date for this phone is announced but the phone is clearly in a more advanced stage of development and experts expect a US or Japan launch in less than a year.
