    Samsung Omnia, released in mid last year, which has made its niche as the multimedia touchscreen phone for business users has finally been software-unlocked.

    Released by good folks at XDA Developer’s forum, here are the steps:

    1) Type the code *7465625*638*# in the Phone app.
    2) Enter valid MCC/MNC of any carrier
    3) Under NCK enter 12345678
    4) Tap OK. A message “SIMLock enabled” will appear
    5) Type the code *#7465625# in the Phone app
    6) No type #7465625*638*#
    7) Enter code: 12345678

    The unlock is complete! Do note that apart from Samsung Omnia this unlocking method also works on Samsung i780.

      when entering mnc/mmc if you code does not work go through codes adding 1/2/3/4 through to 9 after the mmc/mnc code ie 234 101, 234 102 and so on – phones need a 6 digit mcc/mnc but uk code are 5 digits

      this works as i have followed the above instructions and unlocked my omnia i-900

      .This codes doesnt match for mine. iam have the black berry curve i am having code & instructions from mobile-unlocker may i know the imei number.

      Thanks, follwoed the instuctions as above, didn’t work first time but did the second, haven’t testet with a different sim yet but it says all locks disabled.

      Hi, I followed the step correctly , but i entered the MCC/MNC and the NCK, i get “network Lock ”
      What do I do wrong? , I have vodafone Nl “code 20404 “Please Help

      I am trying it for Omini India. friends need input on 2questions.

      1) what should be MCC/MNC for rajsthan ?
      2) Do we need to put new sim during this process?
