Method 1 (Example is meant for X426 Rev 1.5) -Insert Sim card for a carrier other then the one that your phone is locked to. -The phone should display either Incorrect Sim or Wrong Sim, now type *#9998*3323# -The LCD screen will go white and display an exit option. Now press the right soft key -The service menu will appear, highlight and select the malloc fail option, the phone will now reboot -Type *0141# and then press the send key (green phone button). “Personalized” will display on the LCD -Power the phone off, remove the sim and reinset your original sim card. -Turn on the phone and you will be prompted to enter the security code (review users manual unless you have changed the code). -Phone is now unlocked**Depending on your model the code in step 2 (*#9998*3323#) will need to be changed to a different number. Two of the most popular softwares are Cerebros and WinIMEI
Method 2 (Unlock Phone via Software) Cerebros -Make sure that phone is turned on and if applicable cable is switched to d/l -Open Cerebros Unlocker -Click on models drop down menu and almost all settings should work for most models (It will work as long as you have the option to enter a new IMEI in the Write IMEI box) -Press the unlock phone button -Wait until Cerebros says that it is finished and unplug phone, the phone will now appear to have frozen. -Remove the battery, wait 5 seconds and reinset -Phone is now unlocked
WinIMEI (WinIMEI V1.34 will unlock SGH-D500 this Link is for WinIMEI Legal which will unlock most others) -Make sure that phone is turned on and if applicable cable is switched to d/l -Start WinIMEI -Select appropriate Country, Line “A”, 1 PC and the com port you are using within WinIMEI -All selection boxes should be unchecked -Click the Write IMEI tab -A new window will apear, click RD IMEI Setting -Wait for TestModeOn Pass and the box in the upper right hand corner to display Pass and turn green before continuing -Click the unlock button -Click exit on both windows and disconnect phone -Phone is now unlocked

The first code worked for my Samsung X105 phone! It was originally locked to T-Mobile, but I had long since switched to Cingular and just had the old phone lying around. I used the first code - it actually brought up the menu and I chose the option… After this it rebooted and said I was on AT&T… So I didn’t finish the operation. I was able to call on the phone, I tested just to make sure!

Alright, be smarter than me…. If you don’t finish the process it only temporarily unlocks the phone. I turned it off and I was presented with a locked phone again.
Oh well, here I am again, finishing the unlock procedure….
I have tried #*7337# on two D900i new phones and on both of them it re set the IMEI to zero’s
. I sent the phones back and have two more now.
I have tried using the *#9998*3323# method but it keeps asking me for a network code before I get chance to key in *#9998*3323#.
