Installing Games On Samsung D600
first of all you will need to obtain two programmes, SOFTICKPPP and JAVA UPLOADER…both can be found Here Then you need to do the following:
Firstly go to applications/java world/options in the options menu go to the networksettings and fill in this:
APN : internet
username :
password :
proxy OFF
save settings.
Then install Softick PPP 2.21 but don’t run it yet.
Connect your phone with the USB cable (check with studio from samsung if it is connected right
Enable Serial Java download – #*536963#.
Then start softickppp ( not active yet!) check in the settings if ss_mdm0 is enabled. Check it.
Set softick to Active.
Enter Serial Java menu #*5737425#, and choosePPP up and then USB.
Then load a JAD file in Uploader.exe
Then go in the menu t o Serial Download.
It should work fine right now.
When finished, use the code #*536961# to avoid problems(DO THIS EVERY TIME YOUR PHONE CRASHES AND RESTARTS!!)
I have found that a game will upload every other time you go through the motions, on the second attempt the phone will switch itself off when you chose USB- not to worry, just enter the #*536961# code and start again…

I just bought a samsung D600. However, i can’t install the java game in it by following the instruction. There’s a message said that access denie when I activated the Softtick PPP. Do i need to buy a memery card in order to install the game?

i have a little problem with installing the java games
i followed the instructions but my phone keeps crashing when i press ‘ Serial Download ‘ do you know whats the problem?? i have tried USB & Bluetooth and with both it crashes.

These instuctions will work with the samsung D500/D600
On your phone go into:
Applications, Java world, options, network settings and do the following:
APN – Internet
Login ID – (leave empty)
password – (leave empty)
Proxy – Disable
Programs needed are: Samsung Java Uploader & SoftickPPP
First of all Reset your settings on phone for serial download by using the code: #*536961#
Install softick
Connect the USB, check with Samsung PC Studio that the phone is connected right
leave Samsung PC Studio open just tool bar it then:
Go to Softick settings Tick the \Device\ss_mdm0 box and click OK
Open The uploader and select a JAD file
Now enable Java Serial download by using the code:#*536963#
Now Use the code:#*5737425# Choose PPPup and then USB.
Go to Serial Download Now it should work.
Use this code #*536961# when finished
if you don’t it will never work again for game d/loads from internet or network providers.
These instuctions work for blutooth or data cable but i used bluetooth

as i found it easier than data cable and it worked everytime for me
the only time it will not work is if the game is not compatiable for your phone…
I have already tried this one but while i am installing softicppp there is error coming ” no USBPORT.DLL ” INSTALL MANUALLY where to get this file
can u please tell me how to install an application and games in samsung D600? while using softickppp,when i connect the phone using instructions it says NO DEVICE CONNECT while i have check samsung usb modem working properly. Will u pleaaaaaaaaaaaase help me

iv tried this for several times and it worked until i get to download, my mobile is restarting itself all the time. I enabled the softick PPP (from my pc) tough it is saying no devices connected. what can I do?

There are some details completely missed out in the above instructions. This is the only reason that why you are unable to download any game through USB cable into your samsung D600 mobile.

Its nothing to worry about, the reason you are seeing the error message seems that there are probably no other applications in your phone. When you install more applications, the error will cease.

so i downloaded some games and followed many guides and of course the video thats on the net. i got all the programs needed and followed the guides to the letter, and when i get to the dartboard no matter how many times i try the phone reboots or says install error????????
